5th Grade
Community Partner: Senior Citizens
The 5th Grade students host a social gathering with Senior Citizens from our community that will visit our school. The 5th Graders provide musical entertainment and light refreshments. In addition, 5th Graders have the opportunity to visit with and interview this population with prepared and spontaneous questions/conversation. They will learn and write about their personal histories as they make inter-generational connections in their community.
